PORTFOLIO PROJECT - 6 WEEKS

What I did

  • Overview

    • Six weeks development time

    • Controlled and managed development timeline

    • Established expectations and quality standards with designers and engineers

    • Developed in association with Liminal VR - located in Abbotsford, Victoria, Australia

  • Production

    • Ran Weekly SCRUM meetings to update all members of the team of development status

    • Delegated tasks using task tracking software

    • Stepped in when engineering got behind in development and worked with them to get caught up

    • Oversaw delivery of final product to Liminal VR CEO

CHALLENGE POINT

Last minute technical problem

  • Problem

    • One week before delivering final code, the water in the lake failed to render in the Oculus Go

  • Solution

    • Coordinate with Liminal engineers and work together on a solution

    • Worked with design to source a back up solution for the lakes water

  • Outcome

    • Coordinating with the Liminal engineers proved fruitful and we were provided with guidance in how to get the water rendering properly in the Oculus Go headset
